They have been developed into commercial solutions that convert waste into clean energy and other useful products.
His case is the clearest demonstration of the proposition the day was built around. Seven patents are not a filing cabinet. They are the asset on which a company was founded, revenue generated and an environmental problem turned into an input. Intellectual property here is not the reward for the innovation. It is the mechanism through which the innovation became a business.
